Do you have trouble getting budgets approved for “important programs”? Are your metrics, KPIs, and other valuable data points making their way into the decision-making process? Do you feel like your program is still stuck in the “necessary evil” stage of development?
We will review the business side of security programs. That is, how does YOUR business see and need security. We will walk through goal setting, designing value propositions that work for your business, and have some difficult conversations about the state and requirement for professionalism in our org charts.
Navigating a professional ESRM program requires a match between the organizational culture, needs, and competencies. Not every program looks or is the same. Let’s discuss building the right program.

Presenter*
Nicole McDargh, CPP
VP Safety and Loss Prevention
Dominos Pizza LLC
Although she has 30 years of security experience, it is Nicole’s most recent roles as the Physical Security, Safety and Loss Prevention leader for Global Organizations which have given her a front row seat to the challenges of leading complex security organizations.
By applying the business empowering value propositions that she leveraged while working as a contractor to internal security and safety programs she has successfully negotiated challenging programs and budget constraints.
In a Corporate Security Program, keeping people and assets safe is the obvious part. The challenge comes in determining how much of a program to build, which pieces are negotiable, and which are not. Uncovering the formula, and doing it with humor, is Nicole’s passion.
Nicole regularly speaks and lectures on the topic of security management and program.
